Key Highlights of the Exam:

● The paper of the entrance exam has 2 sections: objective type section, which has MCQs, Drawing and Sketching and Descriptive Answer Questions. ● Total marks is 200, also the marks given to each question is different as per the nature of the question. ● There is no Negative Marking in the IIAD Entrance exam. ● The entrace exam is based on 2 subjects. ● Each section of this entrance exam has a different number of questions. ● Total time allotted for the exam is 2 hours.

Exam pattern:

The entrance exam is conducted for the candidates in order to check their creativity, imagination, presentation skills , logical decision making power, writing skills, design as well as drawing ability. The entrance paper has 2 sections , section A is for Logic and Reasoning and section B is for Creative thinking and imagination of the candidate. Each section has a different number of questions, therefore the weightage of marks of each question is also different. Eligibility Criteria:

It is Advisable to the candidates to check the eligibility criteria before start filling the Application Form. the basic eligibility criteria is: ● Candidates must have passed their 12th board examination from either CBSE or ICSE board or any other equivalent board which conducts 12th examination respectively. ● Candidates who are going to appear or are awaiting their 12th board results are also considered eligible for this entrance examination.

Steps to fill the Online Application Form:

Registration:

Students can fill the online application form by visiting the official website of IIAD. Now click on, “ Apply Online” button. Now start filling your personal details and educational information in the application form. Once done, click on the submit button. Candidate will now get an application number generated to them. ●

Payment of Application Fees:

Candidate can log into their candidate portal by using their login ID and password. Now, you can pay the application fees online through Debit card, Credit card and Net Banking respectively.

Steps to fill the Application Form Offline:

For filling the application form Offline, candidates need to follow these steps : ● Go to the official website of IIAD ● Now click on the “ Download Form” option. ● Now fill the candidate’s personal details, educational details and communicational details in the form. ● Now pay the application fees through demand draft in favour of IIAD ● Now send the form to the given address: “ The Admissions Department Indian Institute of Art and Design B-26 Okhla Phase 1 New Delhi-110020 India “

Result and Counselling:

Candidates can check their results online by visiting the official website. The candidate who has qualified the exam will be further called for interview and portfolio rounds.
