Application Process and Documents Required

To apply for FDDI AIST 2023, candidates need to fill out the application form on the official website of FDDI (fddiindia.com). The application process started on December 15, 2022, and the last date to fill out the form without a late fee is June 14, 2023. The application fee is Rs. 600 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs. 300 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Candidates are required to submit the following documents during the exam.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The FDDI AIST 2023 exam will be conducted in offline mode (Pen and Paper based). The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. It consists of 200 objective-type questions from the following sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, General Awareness, and Business Aptitude Test (BAT) for B.Des- RFM or Design Aptitude Test (DAT) for Design Programs (B.Des-FDP, B.Des-LGAD & B.Des-FD). There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Counselling and Seat Allotment

The counselling for seat allocation will be conducted in offline mode. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling based on their merit in the entrance exam. The counselling process will continue until all the seats are filled. Candidates will have to make a payment on the spot for seat reservations, and a certain amount will be required as a balance fee deposit within seven working days. The seat allotment result will be announced in the third week of July 2023.
