Increased Seats to Accommodate Growing Demand

Recognizing the increasing demand for computer science courses, DU has decided to augment the seats available this year. Five hundred seats have been added across the participating colleges, including prestigious institutions like St. Stephen's College, Miranda House, and Hindu College. This move aims to ensure more students can pursue their passion for computer science and meet the industry's ever-growing need for skilled professionals.

CSAS Portal: A User-Friendly Platform for Aspiring Computer Science Students

The CSAS portal is a state-of-the-art online platform facilitating a seamless admission process for computer science aspirants. Students can access the portal at csas.du.ac. Starting from June 16, 2023. The portal offers a user-friendly interface, allowing applicants to fill in their personal and academic details, upload relevant documents, and select their preferred colleges and courses.

Key Points for DU Admissions 2023:

1. Application Dates: The online application window for DU admissions will open on June 16, 2023, and close on July 31, 2023. To avoid any last-minute hassles, aspiring students must complete their applications before the deadline. 2. Entrance Exams: Certain computer science programs, such as B.Tech (Computer Science) and B.E. (Information Technology), require students to appear for entrance exams. The dates and details of these exams will be available on the CSAS portal. 3. Cut-off Lists: DU will release multiple cut-off lists based on merit for admissions. Applicants who meet the cut-off criteria will be eligible for admission. The first cut-off list is expected to be published on August 8, 2023, and subsequent lists will follow. 4. Documents Required: Students are advised to keep their documents, such as Class X and XII mark sheets, birth certificates, category certificates (if applicable), and passport-sized photographs, readily available for the application process. 5. Fee Payment: Once a student's admission is confirmed, they must pay the admission fee online through the DU portal. The fee payment deadline will be mentioned in the admission offer letter.
