According to state Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa, the revision will take place in the best interest of the students and without any problems on the part of the government, education authorities, or the administration. The Congress government is focusing on fulfilling one of its election promises, which is to revise school textbooks by eliminating the BJP government's changes. As a result, the revision of school textbooks is back in the spotlight.

Madhu Bangarappa, the new Karnataka education minister, told reporters on Tuesday, "Textbook revision will definitely happen as it was one of the poll promises". The revision will take place without any problems on the part of the government, education authorities, or the administration and in the student's best interest. The textbooks will be revised in a way that doesn't make things confusing, doesn't make parents and students feel anxious, and doesn't change how students think and learn.

In the meantime, the minister commented on the Hijab controversy, "Since the matter is under the judiciary, anything I say will become a commitment. The law division will follow all the way through and the public authority will face the conflict legitimately".
