Delhi University launches 3 monthly certificate courses on patents

Hybrid instruction will be used for the DU certificate course, classes will begin; Students who have graduated or passed Class 12 may apply until June 10

The instruction for the course will be hybrid, with 48 hours spent online and 12 hours spent offline. Classes will be held for two hours each on Saturday and Sunday. The DU authentication course will take 300 understudies for each bunch and it will be run in numerous clumps consistently.

The "course aims to familiarize students with the various forms of Intellectual Property Rights, particularly the need for creation, protection, commercialization, and valuation of intellectual property, specifically patents," according to Saluja, is the goal of the course. She also said that the goal of this course is to show how new patent trends in technologies like artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, virtual and augmented reality, telecommunications, biotechnology, nanotechnology, CRIs (Computer Related Inventions), and others are emerging.

She also said that the course will also give a detailed description of legal issues related to patents, which will help lawmakers and other people who are concerned find solutions to a lot of legal and practical problems.
