The July session for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE has commenced. The candidates can fill out the application forms from the official website, ctet.nic.in. The last date to apply for the exam is May 26, 2023. The application fee can, however, be paid until May 27 at 3:30 p.m.
The exam has two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. Candidates who wish to teach students from 1 to 5 can appear for the paper 1 exam, and candidates who wish to teach students from 6 to 8 can appear for the paper 2 exam. There is no negative marking in this exam. Each question has four options, and the paper pattern is MCQ based. The CTET exam happens twice a year. The July session is the first cycle of the year.
