Eligibility Criteria: • For B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Program: Candidates must have completed Class 12th or an equivalent examination with at least 45% (45% for SC/ST/PWD). Students appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2023 are eligible. • For LL.M. Program: Candidates must have completed a three-year LL.B. or five-year integrated LL.B. program with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST). • For Ph.D. Program: Candidates must have completed an LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD). Exam Syllabus and Pattern: The AILET 2024 syllabus for the BA LLB and LLM courses has been revised. BA LLB syllabus covers English Comprehension, Logical Aptitude, and General Awareness. LLM syllabus includes English Language and Logical Reasoning. The exam pattern for BA LLB and LLM papers consists of 150 marks each.

For the LL.M. Program: • Total Marks: 150 • Number of Questions: 100 (Objective Type) and 1 Essay Question (Subjective Type) • Subjects: Law of Contracts, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, and Legal Theory. • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer in the objective section carries one mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. The essay question carries 50 marks. • Note: The Ph.D. Program does not have a specific exam pattern. Candidates are required to submit a research proposal and appear for an interview. Admit Card: The admit card for AILET 2024 will be available on the official website in the last week of November 2023.
